Okay, I don’t do it as often as I should. In fact, I hardly ever do it. I’m just not much good at it.
I know I need to rest, but it seems as though every time I decide to go swim only an easy 2200 or so worth, I do more. Even when I’m exhausted, I get past that after a few laps and then I don’t feel like stopping. Then, of course, as I go more and pick it up more, the endorphins kick in and I’m good to go.
Today, I actually did the smart thing and only swam 2400. It feels weird.
